Nintendo’s ‘Customer Appreciation Sale’ is now live, limited to the United States. The sale is offering up to 30% off dozens of Switch games, accessories, amiibo, merch, and plenty more.
I’ll include some of my top picks just below, but be sure to check out the full sale yourself as well in case there’s anything I miss that you’re particularly keen on.
Standouts in the sale include Metroid Dread, down to $41.97 after its highly anticipated sequel, Metroid Ravenous, was revealed during the recent Nintendo Direct.
There’s also Resident Evil Requiem for Nintendo Switch 2, down to its lowest price yet at $49.99. Note that this is for the boxed copy from Amazon, which includes a ‘game key card’.
There are also discounts on the Nintendo Switch 2 Camera, down to $37.99, and amiibo, such as the Metroid Prime 4: Beyond collection, now available from just $20.97 each.

Major US retailers like Amazon, alongside the Nintendo eShop, are offering the vast majority of the deals on offer in the sale. But a quick piece of advice?
If you’re buying anything from Nintendo, pick up some discounted eShop gift cards from Amazon, Costco, Newegg, or wherever else first. This will ensure you’re getting the best possible deal on any of your purchases.
For example, $10 Nintendo eShop gift cards are down to $8.98 at Amazon right now (see the price in the cart). While it’s just over $1 in savings, that soon adds up, and if you aren’t taking advantage of this while still making, you’re basically throwing money away.
Nintendo Switch Games on Sale
As I already mentioned, Metroid Dread will no doubt be at the top of many Nintendo fans lists to play after that electric Nintendo Direct trailer for Ravenous. The sequel has certainly jumped to my most anticipated game of next year as well, especially with how much I loved Dread already.
But, there are a couple of other Metroid games to check out in the sale as well. That includes Metroid Prime Remastered for $27.97, and Metroid Prime 4: Beyond for $41.99.
Other highlights in the sale include Super Mario Galaxy 1+2 for $48.97, Super Mario Bros. Wonder for $41.97, and The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom for $48.97.
Note, that while these are all digital purchases for Nintendo Switch, you can play these on Nintendo Switch 2. But if you want to take full advantage of the new console, such as with Metroid Prime 4 or Tears of the Kingdom, you’ll still need to buy the upgrade pack for around $10 as well.
Nintendo Switch 2 Deals and Preorder Discounts
Looking for the best Nintendo Switch 2 deal right now? That can be found via Walmart, where you can get a Switch 2 console + Super Mario Galaxy 1&2 for $519.
Switch 2 consoles now cost $499.99, so you’re saving $70 in total from the MSRP of buying both separately, or around $30 total savings if you were picking up the game in the sale right now for $48.97, as I mentioned just above.
Other notable Switch 2 deals right now include, as I mentioned, Resident Evil Requiem for $49.99. While I also wanted to give a nod to The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, which is down to $59.88 for a physical copy at Amazon, or $49.88 at Walmart if you get lucky with a hidden promo code.
There’s also $10 off Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave at Amazon if you preorder right now. While neither of these preorder deals are limited to the Customer Appreciation Sale, they are still tremendous offers and worth mentioning for those savvy Nintendo fans out there looking to save as much as possible on their favorite hobby.

Talking of Nintendo Switch 2, Walmart also has some of the best prices we’ve seen on Switch 2 memory cards right now as part of the sale. The Onn 512GB MicroSD Express Memory Card is available for $84.77, while the 256GB model is $46.77, with free shipping on both.
Even better, there’s an unadvertised $10 off coupon code, SAVE3X, which knocks another $10 off either card. That brings the 512GB model down to $74.77 and the 256GB card to just $36.77.
More ‘Customer Appreciation’ Deals
Other notable deals in the sale include a discount on several amiibo, such as from Metroid Prime 4 or The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. There’s also Switch Joy-Con Controllers down to $62.97, sold out at Nintendo but available at Walmart (for now at least), and the Nintendo Sound Clock ‘Alarmo’.
Nintendo Sale Made Possible by Tariff Refunds in the US
As a reminder, upon announcing this sale last week, Nintendo also said that it’s parly being funded and made possible thanks to “tariff-related refunds.” The video game giant said it “absorbed most tariff-related costs,” but the refunds have helped make promotions such as this new sale possible.
Nintendo previously faced questions over what it would do with money returned after the US tariff regime was challenged. Nintendo recently raised the prices of some Switch products globally, citing a combination of factors including tariffs, rising component costs, labor and shipping.
It subsequently argued that consumers were not entitled to refunds for purchases made at those higher prices after a court ruled the tariffs illegal. Nintendo said customers had received “exactly what they bargained and paid for” and that it was not required to retroactively adjust prices following the outcome of the tariff litigation.
Fan reaction to the sale has been mixed so far.
