Season 4 Episode Release Schedule Confirmed

Amazon’s Reacher series is returning for a fourth season this week. While continuing the live-action adaptation of Lee Child’s thriller series, this particular season is also setting the stage for a new spin-off.

As always, the new season of Reacher will be streaming exclusively on Prime Video, which is included in all Amazon Prime memberships. Here’s when you can expect to see new episodes of big guys beating up other big guys.

We’ve been particularly big fans of Reacher across its three seasons. The TV show is based on Lee Child’s book series, which was previously adapted into a duology of movies starring Tom Cruise. Season 3 of Reacher, which we called “a righteous good time” in our 8/10 review, was at one point the most-watched returning series ever on Prime Video.

It wasn’t too surprising, then, that the series got the green light for Season 5 before we’ve even gotten our eyes on Season 4. The new season will also lead into a new spin-off series, Neagley, with Maria Sten reprising her role as a private investigator after serving in Reacher’s Special Investigations Unit.

Ahead of the Season 4 premiere, Jack Reacher himself, Alan Ritchson, has once again gotten himself wrapped up in superhero casting rumors. While years of Batman fan-casting don’t seem to be panning out, the action star has reportedly been in conversations with DCU head James Gunn about playing a different character.

Meanwhile Prime Video has had a particularly big year with releases like Invincible Season 4, Off Campus, and the final season of The Boys. Unfortunately, the streaming service also announced some price hike-ish adjustments. While Amazon hasn’t increased the base price of its Prime memberships, it recently rebranded its ad-free streaming tier to Prime Video Ultra, which basically means it costs an extra $4.99/month to remove ads.
